Considering the fact that yeast prefers to thrive on simple carbohydrates present in foods, the yeast free diet is nearly identical to the low carb diet approach. Coming up with yeast free diet recipes and deciding the food menu is challenging, because traces of yeast are found in almost all types of processed or refined food items. Understanding the yeast allergy foods to avoid is crucial for people, who are sensitive to this fungus. Some mold allergy foods to avoid are mentioned below.

Mushrooms: Mushrooms are included in the yeast allergy foods to avoid list. They are fruiting bodies of fungus, and trigger symptoms of yeast allergy in hypersensitive patients. Thus, shroom of any type is not recommended in the yeast free eating plan.

Alcoholic Beverages: All types of alcoholic beverages are prepared by fermentation with yeast, and they are to be eliminated from the yeast free diet or candida diet. People who are extremely hypersensitive to yeast will develop symptoms after having a serving of wine or beer.

Vinegar: Like wine and alcoholic beverages, vinegar is a fermentation product. Any type of vinegar you take, they are all prepared after fermenting the base ingredients with the help of yeast. While following an yeast free diet plan, avoid vinegar in cooking, dressing salads and making barbecue sauce.

Dairy Products: Yeast and alike fungus prefer to thrive on lactose. Hence, there is a high probability that dairy products contain yeast strains. Confirm with your doctor about these yeast allergy foods to avoid, and accordingly plan your regular yeast free diet.

Dried Fruits: The next food item to be avoided in the yeast free diet is dried fruits. It is found that yeast has a tendency to feed in the concentrated sugar of fruits. However, you can consult a nutrition expert about the type of dried fruits that you can include in the daily diet.

Canned Fruit Juices: Limit frozen fruits or canned fruit juices in the yeast intolerance diet, as they may contain traces of yeast in them. The point is that such preserved foods contain concentrated sugars, which are often contaminated with yeast.

Processed Foods: Nearly all types of processed foods, food coloring and food additives are likely to contain yeast in small amounts. Say, for instance, it may get contaminated during the drying process of tea and coffee. So, it is best to limit them as far as possible.

Mold is growing on my carpet, white powdery with large fungi that are as big as my hand. HELP!?
I found large growth of fungus in the back of my closet. I know that a leak on my porch is the problem. The builder is addressing that issue ( again ) today. I found the growth last night and have not tried to start cleaning it. I have the builder VP coming out to look at it himself. I've asked them to have a mold specialist come out too. My question now is...What about all our clothes and shoes. Should they be responsible for cleaning them? and how should I got about the cleaning job, I'd hate to spread more around. I have a heat duct in the closet, so I'd guess that mold has gotten into the air system in the house. We are not sick. (thankful) But I don't want to start carrying all these clothes around washing them by my machine and making the problem worse. Should we throw out the carpet? What about the leather shoes thats white dust was on? Builder said that it would be a good idea to stay out of the closet, What would one of you do next? Thanks

disclosure for allergyn molds in Real Estate agreement?
I am in the process of selling my home and because of a builder's mistake of placing a Sto/Drivate system to below ground level, I may have allergyn molds growing in my basement. A repair to the stucco system & a dehumidifier to the basement is the fix. Do I have to use the M(old) word in our disclosure? The mold specialist we hired said it is NOT toxic mold and on a scale of 1 to 10 it is maybe a 2.
